About Us
Homeschool Pride Girl Scouts is division of Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland. GSKH serves nearly 15,000 girls and adults in 80 Kansas counties through its operational headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. We have troops from Daisy – Senior. All our troops conveniently meet at the same time and place each week in west Wichita.
Most of our members are homeschooled or have been homeschooled at some point. However, being a homeschooler is not required. Joining the Homeschool Pride is a great way to meet families with shared interests and schooling philosophy.
Are you interested in learning a sport, sampling the arts, preparing for a career, or pitching a tent? In Girl Scouting, you can do it all! Plus the Homeschool Pride give you a chance to meet other homeschoolers and like-minded families. Girls ages 5-17 can join as a troop member.
Our troop levels:
Daisy - grades K-1
Brownie - grades 2-3
Junior - grades 4-5
Cadette - grades 6-8
Senior - grades 9-10
Ambassador - grades 11-12
All Members:
- Share the Girl Scout Promise and Law
- Pay annual membership dues of $12 and $30 troop dues. Dues enable girls to enjoy every aspect of the Girl Scout program. Financial assistance for membership dues and special activities is available.
- Girl Scouts may also choose to purchase uniforms, insignia and books to enhance their Girl Scouting experience
